The Invicta 26 was designed by E. G. Van de Stadt in 1964. The boat has a narrow hull and transom hung rudder and characteristic round hatches. These hardy little yachts are renowned for being beautifully balanced when under sail. The keel extends for at least half her length, and more than two-thirds her waterline length, which gives great directional stability.
Verglas is found to be in good condition inside and out, with a fresh coat of antifoul, clean decks and interior. The boat is currently in a dry storage facility just south of the Cleddua in Pembrokeshire.
