With spiraling narrowboat prices you could be forgiven for thinking that you will never achieve your dreams of boat ownership. The Swan however might just prove you wrong.

Admittedly The Swan does not feature many of the bells and whistles that owners think they need to enjoy their time afloat, but is all this expensive equipment really needed, in fact there is an argument that less is more.

At 41ft in length, day to day running costs such as licence and insurance, should not be prohibitive.

The layout is perfect for two utilising the comfortable cross bed double aft, but for a small family the sofa bed will come into its own.

The galley is equipped with a full size cooker along with a 12V fridge and ample worktops. 230V small appliances such as laptops, TV and phone chargers can all be powered by the fitted inverter when away from a home mooring.

Boats of this length are always popular as they are capable of exploring the entire canal and river system.

One of the glass shower panels is missing and due to be replaced and the timber aft hatch is in poor condition and needs replacement. This of course is reflected in the price.
